Wattle seed (acacia pycnantha + other species) Wattles seed is a gluten-free legume seed that is very high in proteins, rich in oils (esp. linoleic acids) with minimal carbohydrates. Wattle seed can be used in many different formats, including: 1. Light roasted and added to many different dishes. 2. Roasted and ground to powder for use as a flour addition. 3. Cooked whole like rice or quinoa Flavour is usually described as nutty, earthy, misso/umami, & sometimes with coffee/chocolate tones. Various pack sizes available.
